TUCANO PACKAGE 3 DAYS/2 NIGHTS. Day 1 - 06:00 am. departure to the Pousada dos Guanavenas. We will travel along the road Am-010, for three hours, by air conditioned bus up to the Urubu river where a boat will be waiting us. during the trip , we will see the small rural properties and the forest. we will sail down the Urubu river to the Camaçari lake - a trip of 1 ½ hours to where the Pousada is located . Here we will have the opportunity to appreciate the birds, the fish and vegetation. Upon arrival at the Pousada, we will be offered a delicious welcome drink, followed by information about this area and the program. Lunch. In the afternoon, a walk up to the small village where it will be possible to meet a caboclo and know his customs. After that, we will board a launch to go to the region where big groups of alligators are located for spotting, returning to the pousada at 7:30 pm, approximately. Dinner and overnight. Day 2 - After breakfast , jungle trekking. Return to the Pousada for lunch. in the afternoon, we will go to the "Igapó" ( a flooded forest ). It is in the Igapó region where about 25% of the brazilian wild orchids grow. At sunset, the launch will continue up to " Ilha dos pássaros " ( birds’island ): great quantity of bird nests - araras, parrots, herons, toucans, hawks, jancana ..., providing us with a show. An ecological hotel
situated in the middle of the jungle about 55 km from Manaus, on the margins
of the Rio Negro and Ariaú creek, which is next to the Anavilhanas
- the world’s largest floating archipelago. The hotel is constructed of
regional hard wood, having a tropical architecture built on solid ground
stilts . when the rivers are flooded the stilts are covered with water
for at last 6 months , and the other 6 months, it is vice versa. Every

The Amazon Lodge is located 80 Km ( 50 miles ) from Manaus, Southbank of the Amazon River, on the Parana do Mamori River system, upstream Rio Juma. The Amazon Lodge is classified as "Standard Ecological Lodging" by the Brazilian Tourism Bureau - EMBRATUR . Transfers Departures: 06:00 h or 14:00 h.
