Hotel Das Cataratas
This first class hotel is the only one inside the Iguaçu National Park and is very close to the Falls. The 200 rooms are all equipped with air conditioning, cable TV, mini bar, and safe. The hotel offers a swimming pool, games room, bar, restaurants, laundry, shops, swimming pool, tennis court, and children’s playground. The Itaipu Restaurant serves a buffet style meal specializing in Brazilian and International cuisine. The Ipê Bar & Grill features buffet or banquet style meals. For drinks and snacks, there is the Tarobá Bar. 

The trail leading to the Falls starts at the front of the hotel and there are walking tours available. This hotel was one of the first to establish ecological standards and received the first Environmental Certification in Latin America.

Hotel Mabu Termas & Resort
Situated between the airport and the center of the city, this 208-room resort is known for its thermal pools. This is due to being located at Botucatu, a large underground thermal water supply. The 208 rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV, hairdryer, mini bar, and safe. Some rooms may have computer access, coffee makers, Jacuzzi tubs and disabled access. The hotel amenities include gift shop, hairdresser, bars, restaurants, games room, business center and 24 hour room service.

Recreational and health facilities are superior. Guests will enjoy the thermal heated swimming pools, tanning room, steam room, tennis courts, whirlpool, soccer field, volleyball court and water sport facilities. There is a lake for fishing and a supervised playground for the children.

For lunch or a quick snack, try The Brasserie Portinari, the Carmen Miranda Café or the Bar of the Pirate. More sophisticated dining is offered at the Dumont Restaurant or the Villa-Lobos Piano Bar. Guests will find their stay at this resort very relaxing and enjoyable.
